One-button WhatsApp call for seniors
WhatsApp hides the call button behind chats, tabs, and look-alike icons. A permanent call link on one BabushkApp button fixes that.
Meta lets you create a call link that opens WhatsApp voice or video directly. You paste that link into a button labeled with your name.
She never opens the chat list. Tap green button — WhatsApp opens — call starts or waits for you to join.
Create a WhatsApp call link
On your phone, in WhatsApp, create a call link (Settings → Call link, or use Meta's official guide). Copy the https:// link.
Paste into a green button
Open BabushkApp setup on her phone. New button → WhatsApp call type → paste the link → label it CALL [YOUR NAME].
Test before you hand it over
Save. Tap the button yourself — WhatsApp should open on the call screen, not a random chat.
Pin the app icon
Same as any BabushkApp install: Safari Share → Add to Home Screen on iPhone. She taps the red icon, then the green button.
Video vs voice
Video links work the same way if you prefer face calls. One button for video, a second blue button for regular phone — only if she can tell them apart.
She does not need to find your chat, the video icon, or the call tab. One green button — your name — opens WhatsApp ready to call.
