Setup help
Short answers for whoever is setting up the phone. If something doesn't add up, message us and we'll fix it.
How do I add a button?
Open Setup, tap Create button, type a label, pick a type — call, SMS or messenger — and enter the number or link. The label is optional: leave it blank and the button shows the number.
How do I change a button?
In setup mode, tap the button and change its label, type, number or colour. Then Save.
How do I delete a button?
In setup mode, tap the red bin icon next to the button and confirm. Only that button, on this phone, is removed.
How do I check a button works?
Tap it yourself while the phone is still with you. The right call, SMS or chat should open. If the wrong thing opens, change the button type or link.
How do I set up WhatsApp?
For a chat, enter the person’s number. For a call, paste the permanent call link you create inside WhatsApp itself.
How do I set up Telegram?
Enter a @username or a phone number. Test the button while the phone is still with you.
Where are the contacts stored?
Only in the browser on this phone. We have no server and no accounts — we never see numbers or names.
What happens on a new phone?
The buttons don’t move by themselves. Either set them up again (the same 5 minutes) or carry them over with “Save a copy” → “Restore”.
Can I save a copy of the buttons?
Yes. In setup mode tap “Save a copy” to download a file. On the new phone, open setup and tap “Restore”, then pick that file.
Why is there no sign-up?
So setup takes a couple of minutes and we store nothing on a server. The buttons live on the phone — to move or back them up, use “Save a copy” and “Restore”.
