Add BabushkApp to Android home screen

On Android, install through Chrome — two taps in the menu. Same red icon as iPhone, different path to get there.

Samsung Internet and Firefox can work, but Chrome matches what we show inside the app and what most caregivers already use.

After install, BabushkApp opens full screen from the home screen — not as a browser tab with an address bar she can get lost in.

  1. Open Google Chrome

    If another browser is default, open Chrome first. Type babushkapp.com/app — you land in setup.

  2. Tap the menu

    Three dots in the top right (or bottom on some phones). The menu is where Add to Home screen lives.

  3. Add to Home screen

    Wording varies — Add to Home screen, Install app, or Add to Home. Tap it. Confirm if Android asks.

  4. Pin the icon up front

    Long-press the new icon and drag it to the first row. Same rule as iPhone — visible icon, fewer "where did it go" calls.

Inside BabushkApp we show the same steps with icons when you finish setup. Buttons stay saved on the phone even if she removes the icon.

Open the red icon together once. She taps a green button — you answer. Same lesson as iPhone, fewer steps in Chrome.
